Hi there,
The email with the link to confirm is sent to the NEW address. Please check the inbox for the new address you entered, as well as the spam folder and any other filters that might be set up for that account.
I told you the same thing when you changed your email address 3 months ago:
-
Of course, I checked on the new account. I have not received confirmation email. I checked all folders.
-
We sent the confirmation email to the live.com email address 20 hours ago, and it shows as delivered successfully on our end. Please try searching your email for “wordpress”, or otherwise add
(email visible only to moderators and staff)to your contacts list and try resending it from your account settings. -

I repeated the whole process. All the same happen again. Just email I described. No confirmation e-mail.
-
Yes. Everything was okay then, long ago, when I used the gmail address. But after that several times I wanted to change my address (live.com) but I never received a confirmation link in an email. Today I tried one more time to do it, but the same thing happened.
-
I’m not satisfied with the reply. The provider is not a real problem. The problem is in the email. If you really send me a confirmation email, then
I would not get this email I received, because it contains quite different instructions.
A quote:
“If you made this request, you can safely ignore and delete this email.” -
The email you reference is the one we sent to your Gmail address that’s currently on your account.
We sent another email to the new @live.com email address to which you’re trying to change. We only have control over sending the email, and we’ve done that. Whether or not you receive it depends on your email provider for the @live.com address.

Sometimes an email provider can block us because another user reported us as spam, so they block emails from us to all accounts.
Adding our email address to your contacts can help prevent that, and some email providers have a safe senders list to which you can also try adding us so you will receive our emails at that address.
-
Yes, I did. I have next adresses in safe senders list:
(email visible only to moderators and staff)

Excellent! I can confirm that it’s showing the new email on our side now as well.
Thank you for letting me know :)
