  Unfortunately after several attempts I did not receive the confirmation email.

  If you are referring to an email sent to you after you post a post, I am int he same situation, I didn’t get a copy of the post in my email, however, I did get a update as if I ‘edited’ it, which I didn’t I just reposted and it was treaded as an edit.
  Same problem? seems so, although I have not answer for you, sorry.
