confirmation email
-
Every time I sign into my wordpress.com account I have a message at the top stating that I need to activate my account through email. The only activation email I have is from 8/2015 when I originally signed up but when I click on ‘confirm email address’ it takes my to a site that says ‘invalid activation key’. When I go back to my account and click ‘resend activation email’, I never receive the email. I checked my email address and it is correct. I even re-entered it. I checked my junk email and nothing. I can still access my account so do I even need to worry about it?

Hi there,
I could help you with activating your account. If you were to try to publish anything on your WordPress.com blog, you wouldn’t be able to because your account isn’t activated. It won’t affect the work you are doing to your self-hosted blog which it hasn’t been an issue for you.
However, to take full advantage of all the WordPress.com features, I would like to assist you in activating the account.
I’m going to e-mail you to confirm you have access to the e-mail under your account. All you will need to do is reply and then I can assist you in the activation.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thank!

I received your reply e-mail and have notified the issue internally. I’ll keep you updated once I hear back regarding your account activation.
Thanks!
