Confirmation email from WordPress not being received

  In order to publish posts and bages on the above blog, I need to receive an email in order to confirm my email address. I have clicked ‘send confirmation email’ many times, and it tells me it has sent the email to my address. However, it is not arriving. I have checked my junk email and also sought IT help to ensure it it not being queued in the server at my end. But apparently it is not even reaching the server – the server has no record of the emails WordPress confirms as sent. Is there any way around this issue?
