confirmation email is incorrect

  I tried to create a site but upon filling out the form I made a mistake and the email confirmation was sent to another email. The email should have been sent to (email visible only to moderators and staff) but instead it is sent to (email visible only to moderators and staff). Therefore, I can not confirm the site. I am able to log in and use the change my email link. But when I click on send another confirmation email it still sends it to the wrong one. I do not want to loose my url.

  While logged into your account, go to account settings and correct your email address here (I’m not sure that’s what you tried): https://wordpress.com/me/account

  When you click the “Save Account Settings” button, there’ll be a message saying that there’s a pending change. Check your inbox for the confirmation email and click the link within to verify your email address. The old address just gets a notice saying the change has been requested. There isn’t a confirmation link included in that one so you don’t need access to that account.

  If none of that works, add “modlook” to the tags for this thread to let WordPress.com staff know that you need assistance with this issue.
