Confirmation email is not being sent

I see lots of similar posts on forum , is their any issue with wordpress.com sending confirmation email?
I tried several times, checked spam folder. I am not able to import my site.
Please help.

The first step is verifying that you entered the correct email address on your accounts page. Please confirm that the email address here https://wordpress.com/me/account is correct.
If you cannot locate the email activation/verification/confirmation check your email client spam filter, and if you use gmail or google apps please consult these guides:
