Confirmation email not being received / sent

  i have learned from more than one person who tried to follow my blog, that an email was never sent. i learned from another person that a post update wasn’t received. all of these people checked their spam inboxes and nothing was there either. i am very concerned because i may have lost other followers who i am not in contact with.

  1) please help, and
  2) if possible, can you retrieve requests to follow for which confirmations were never sent? i would like them sent now if possible.

  Updates to existing posts are not sent out by email. A notification is only sent out when it is originally published. The reason for this is that (at least in my case) I can sometimes make 3 or 4 quick revisions to a post (typos, forgotten link, etc.) and this can be very aggravating for subscribers.
