Confirmation email not coming through

    I am trying to publish articles but there is a notification that I need to confirm my email address. the address I have used is accurately spelt and is current active however I have not received any confirmation email. I am unable to use an alternative email as I do not have one. Please assist with verfying my email so I can post articles. my email adddress is (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    Have you looked for the activation email in your spam filter? If you use Gmail or Google Apps, please have a look at this support page for assistance: https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/gmail-issues/

    You mentioned using the correct email address. You can double check it at account settings. If by chance the email is incorrect, update it and click the Save Account Settings button. There’ll be a message saying that there’s a pending change. Check your inbox for the confirmation email and click the link within to verify your email address.

    If neither of the above solve the problem, add “modlook” to the tags of this forum thread to let WordPress.com staff know that you need assistance with this issue.
