Confirmation Email Not Received

Hello,
I have not received the confirmation email and have made several resend attempts. I have made sure that the email on my profile is my correct email and have checked my spam folder several times. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Hi alainatompson,
I’ve checked your account and we haven’t been able to deliver emails to the address (including the confirmation email) on your Account Settings page. The DNS for the domain are still pointing to Bluehost so please contact them for more information about why emails aren’t working.
You will need to add DNS records for the email on our end once the incoming transfer is complete — but these records will only become active once the name servers are pointing to WordPress.com (currently pointing to Bluehost).
One thing you may want to consider is not using an email address based on a domain for a WordPress.com account or admin contact email for the domain. If that domain were to ever expire, you wouldn’t be unable to contact us for help with retrieving it.

Thank you so much for your help! I canceled the domain transfer from Bluehost for the time being until I can figure out what is happening on their end. I also switched my email like you suggested and was immediately able to confirm my new email. Your response was very helpful. Thank you again!
