Confirmation email to delete blog?

  I have attempted to delete the blog fbabbitt.wordpress.com and I am not receiving the necessary confirmation email to delete it. I have checked all of my folders (including spam) repeatedly. I don’t know what else to do.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you want it to be away from public eyes you can set it to private right away, see here – http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
  Have you followed all the delete blog instructions? – http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  Yes I followed all directions multiple times. I made this blog for a class and I don’t want it. I have tried to delete it several times and for some reason I’m not getting that confirmation email. I get all other emails from wordpress, but not this one. If someone from wordpress would just delete it that would be great. I saw on another forum that they did that for someone else. I’d really appreciate it. I don’t know what I could be doing wrong, as the steps to delete it are pretty simple.
