confirmation link?

    Im trying to add a plugin so my website is permanently private unless i send someone a confirmation link via email that they can click on to access the website. How do i go about doing this?

    Hi there,

    You don’t need a plugin to do this on WordPress.com.

    Go to My Site ->Settings. You’ll see a Privacy option there. If you set your blog to Private it won’t be visible to search engines and people will only be able to access it if you specifically sent them an invitation. Also note that people you invite will need to create a WordPress.com account before they’ll be able to see the site:
