Confirming email address

  I successfully receive confirmation emails and when I click the link, I’m directed to the site that says ‘Your WordPress.com account has been activated!’ But when I return to my site, the message is still there prompting me to confirm my email. I’ve tried posting, but it doesn’t work. What should I do? Thanks in advanced!
