confit add image to navigation menu??

  I’m using Confit, with custom design. I want to put my logo (a JPG image) on the top lefthand side of the page, above my heading and subheading. How do I do this? Any tips would be very gratefully received. I’m a newbie at making websites so not sure what to do.
