Confit theme: Menu Item View "Page Not Found"

  I’m using the confit theme without any paid upgrades. I have added several menu items. Previously I could view/preview these items individually. However, as of today, I can no longer view these items and receive a “Page not found” message. If I create a new page with a menu template, the items are visible there. But if I do a search of my blog for say “raspberry,” the search results display my manual excerpt and permalink to menu item, which again unfortunately leads to “Page Not Found.”

  Know that until there is a published post with the category assigned to it the dynamic categories page has no data that it can display, so it display a 404 (page not found) error message. Publish a post with the category assigned to it and the error message will disappear.

  The pages http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ we bloggers create are static and cannot automatically update. Only the dynamic categories pages created by the software will automatically update.

  Though there is only one dynamic page in a blog for posts and we cannot post to more than that one page, we can create the appearance that we have posted to more than one page. We organize posts by assigning categories to them. You can create a custom menu and add the dynamic categories pages into the custom menu.

  The “food menu items” are published. I just can’t preview them.
