Confit theme misses menu option

  On my wamp server I’m running the latest wordpress version with the free downloadable confit theme. However when I activate this theme there is no option to create a menu. There is however written that it’s an easy way to create a menu.

  This is the theme http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/confit/

  When using a free wordpress site, there is a menu called Food Menus. This is missing from the zip file in the download as no such menu is created after activating the theme.
