conflict charge with godaddy.com
-
I have 2 domain names hosted through Godaddy: Devpeds.com and growyourchildrenwell.com. According to my Godaddy statement they are both up for renewal. I just renewed my domain registration with wordpress on Jan 3 for $99.According to your statement, growyourchildrenwell.com was automatically renewed by you.
I called godaddy to check that I did not need to renew with them, and they stated that you could not renew the domain name, but that I need to do this with godaddy. This looks like double billing to me. Please explain.
I actually want to keep only devpeds.com and will renew with godaddy. Please map only for devpeds.comThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Howdy,
At WordPress.com, we charge you to use your own domain name on your WordPress.com site. In your case, this is what you’re being charged for (in addition to the rest of the features as part of our Premium bundle).
While we offer complete registration (both the mapping to your site and the actual reserving of the domain name), in your case, the domain is registered through GoDaddy, so both charges are required.
Looking at your account, you have only growyourchildrenwell.com mapped to your site while devpeds.com is simply being forward to growyourchildrenwell.com.
I’ve added devpeds.com to your account and can remove growyourchildrenwell.com when you’d like. To have devpeds.com work, please update your nameservers with GoDaddy to ns1.wordpress.com, ns2.wordpress.com, ns3.wordpress.com. (more details at Map an Existing Domain).
Do you have any e-mail addresses at devpeds.com? If so, there’s an extra step for the e-mail, but I’m happy to take care of that for you if so.
Cheers!

Thanks, I will renew and keep both domain names, as long as devpeds.com is still active.

Will you keep the way it’s currently setup (devpeds.com forwarding to growyourchildrenwell.com)? If so, I’ll remove devpeds.com on our end so you aren’t charged for that (a second domain is extra) since GoDaddy’s forward works :-)
Cheers!
