Conflicting info on using Adsense on WP

  I see conflicting info about using adsesnse on wordpress, how can it not be allowed if google has a plugin for it that’s listed in the wordpress directory??

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You are confusing wordpress.com with wordpress.org. That plugin is for self-hosted installs of WordPress.
