conflicting information on WordPress about my domain
-
I opened my WordPress domain with an account I later deleted, not realizing the connection because I created a linked email to my domain through Titan mail and assumed all communication would come directly through that connected email. WordPress AI is telling me the website is good until July 2026. Every other WordPress source is telling me the account is closed. It appears closed. I can’t access an human being to help me get things straightened out! Please help me!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Is it possible that you opened your domain and emailed with a different email address under a different WordPress.com account?
I suggest the best next course of action for you is to go through our account recovery form, where you can use the transaction ID of the purchase as a way to prove ownership of the domain. We can then provide more information securely via email.
You can get started with that here: https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#verify-your-account-ownership

Thank you David. I am ineligible for the recovery form because I do not have any of the three authenticating identifiers required by WordPress. They must have disappeared when I shut down the email and website that I had with WordPress that I closed down. I am a 78 year old children’s picture book author. My book is award winning and best selling and my website is very important to me. I paid $72 or $74 to create my RandiStories.com website with WordPress in Nov. of 2024. I’m guessing I got a renewal notice in Nov. 2025 that went to the shut down email rather than the email associated with RandiStories.com which is (email visible only to moderators and staff). I am not techi-savy and am desperate for help. Please help me.
BTW: I found the website purchase info. For Nov. 2024 in my notes not by a receipt. -
Hi @gracie14197fae866a – I can definitely understand the frustration of not being able to access that old email.
In terms of recovering the account – one of the options mentioned in the link my colleague shared is to provide the correct ‘Transaction ID’ from the recent renewal in November.
Whilst you may not be able to see the email receipt – by contacting your bank (or checking your statement) you’d be able to see the transaction and provide the correct Transaction ID in the form below to regain access.
