Conflicting WordPress accounts on one email account

  I currently have a WordPress account, on this site, using my email address.

  I also have my own entirely separate website, and I can log into WordPress on that site (by adding wp-admin to the URL) using the same email address.

  The problem is that my account here on WordPress apparently has no knowledge whatsoever of my other site, and I’m at a loss as to how that is or how to change that. Since I’m logging into WordPress on my site, shouldn’t my account here – under the same email address – at least recognize my site in some fashion?

  Hi there,

  Is your entirely separate site (which is using the same email address) using the standalone WP software? If so, the “connector” between your self-hosted site and WordPressdotcom is the Jetpack plugin https://jetpack.com/
