Confused
-
I’m new to blogging and trying to set up my blog. Below my header I have the section that says what’s below. I would like to have the text after (Filed under:) to direct visitors to write comments. How do I do this. I’ve tried but to no avail. Thanx in advance.
Hello world!

That’s a blog post that WordPress provides so that you can see what your posts will look like once you start blogging. You can change it by going to your Dashboard, then Manage, then Edit that particular post, “Hello World”.
I don’t know why it says “say hi to Max”. That is unusual. Could you provide a link to the blog so we can see what’s going on? It may be a WordPress.org blog, rather than a WordPress.com blog:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=3700&page&replies=1If it isn’t WP.com, then you will have to ask over at the WordPress.org support forum.

Hi, Max! ‘Filed under’ is just your theme’s way of saying ‘categories’ so if you make a category called Say hi to Max and check it for a post it will appear that way.

Sorry I thought the link would come up with my avatar.

As for the Say Hi to Max, I put that in there somehow when I was first setting up thinking that would be the heading to where to put comments. I’m getting the hang of it but some things still stump me. By the way thanx for the quick responses. -
@max
If you would like to link your blog to your username in the forums, at the top of a forum page, click on “view your profile” and then click “edit.” You can then enter the URL of your blog into the “website” field and click “update profile. -

I see it. I also see you’ve been tweaking quite a lot in terms of sidebars and posting images and actually getting into some advanced things. You’re going to learn fast at this rate. It looks good.
