Seriously? Your ads said ‘storefront’ is ‘the easiest way to setup an ecommerce store’. So far, I cannot get past the first few steps.
We have a domain on another platform. However, before we move everything we would liek to buid and play around with the your theme/platform.
Can we do all of this without trasnfering domains etc? -
Hello there,
Yes you can do everything without transferring domains. However to install the Storefront theme you would need to have one of the paid plans (Premium and up).
Can you tell me what issue you’re having with getting past the first step? Are you receiving any errors?

Hi there,
On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here doesn’t appear to own any sites with us yet.
Storefront is a theme for the WooCommerce ecommerce plugin. Using the Storefront theme and/or plugins on WordPress.com requires our Business or eCommerce plan, so you will need to create a site and upgrade to one of those plans before you’ll be able to use Storefront (both plans allow you to install plugins and third-party themes, but the eCommerce plan comes with WooCommerce and Storefront pre-installed).
You do not need to transfer your domain at the time that you set up the site. All sites on WordPress.com get a free example.wordpress.com subdomain, and you can upgrade and build your site at that free address until you’re ready to switch your domain over to us.
Let me know if you have any questions about this.
