  im trying to log onto instant wordpress, i made an account with wordpress, but its not linking the 2, and letting me sign in.

  We provide support on this forum only for free hosted wordpress.com blogs and no others. I don’t know what “instant wordpress” is. I don know that you can log-in to your empty free hosted wordpress.com blog linked to your username by using this link http://fixinglives.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

  I just googled this and Instant WordPress is for local installs. All support for local installs of wordpress is provided here http://wordpress.org/support/ On the top right hand corner of that page is where you register a wordpress.org username account so you can post to the correct support forum.
