    Will it charge me upon purchase for the domain? or will it be free for the first year like it says?

    Hi there,

    If you purchase a domain without a yearly plan, then you’ll be charged for it. The domain is free (for the first year) only if you upgrade to one of our plans.

    I recommend the Premium or Personal plan if you’re just starting out. With those plans, you can register your domain for free, remove the ads, and increase your site’s storage space. If you’re interested, you can quickly upgrade below.
