Confused about domain mapping costs

  Why am I paying 96$ when the previous year I simply redirected my free wordpress theme to my domain? I accidentally deleted my previous subscription and now I’m confused.

  Domain mapping is no longer available as an individual upgrade. If you wish to map your domain to your WordPress.com site, you need an upgraded plan.

  If you simply need to use a custom domain for your site without the features of a Premium Plan, you can choose the Personal Plan which is $48 per year.
