Confused about imported media links

  I’m hoping to move my self-hosted blog redrocketrising.com back to wordpress.com. I’ve set up a test blog r3sandpit.wordpress.com and run an export/import routine.

  It looks like all the posts / media / comments / categories / tags have come over fine but I am confused about where the media has come back to. I can see the import has rewritten the part of the media HTML to point to the new site, but it has left the <img src=’…> part still pointing at the redrocket address, and including and uploads folder. Here is an example:

  My question is this:

  As and when I turn off the old blog and repoint the DNS entries at wordpress (and set up a domain name for r3sandpit), how will the posts work if the <a and <img tags are pointing differently and also one has wp-content/uploads in the path.
