confused about primary domain

  Hello WordPress.com

  I own a domain name (www.miscegenations.org) on godaddy.com and I have just reset the nameservers so that it now points to my new wordpress.com blog (http://miscegenations.wordpress.com). the changes have taken effect. however, i notice that the domain name switches to the wordpress.com name once i get to my new blog. is it possible to make it so that a viewer will always see the .org site in the url bar?

  When you mapped your miscegenations.wordpress.com domain to miscegenations.org did you check the little bullet by miscegenations.org to make that the primary blog?

  I just moved two blogs onto here and both say my-site.com not my-site.wordpress.com – but I did check the box to make my-site.com primary.

  Take a look at that.

  originally i did that, but when i clicked on my pages i got an error message saying that the files could not be found. i just tried it again, and this time it’s all there. i guess that my hosting just hadn’t gotten the complete communication.
