  Hi. I’m about to purchase my own domain on wordpress.com . My question is, do I need Site Redirect? Or will people who type in myblog.wordpres.com automatically be taken to myblog.com since my blog is still hosted on wordpress.com?

  If you purchase from WordPress.com for domain mapping (to map a worpress.com blog to the domain name) then this is included in the $18 fee.
