Confused – referre stats from wordpress.com

I just checked in on my stats for today and see that, in the referrer stats, we have many, many clicks coming in from WordPress.com. When I click the link it takes me to “Freshly Pressed” but it doesn’t appear that any of our posts appear there. It also doesn’t look like the “Top Posts and Pages” clicks match up with this number. Just wondering…anyone know where this is coming from? Thanks in advance for the info.

It looks like this is a very new change. We’re starting to report email subscription and feed views in your stats as referred by WordPress.com, hence the sudden jump.
This feature is in its infancy, so we’ll be making adjusts to it over the next several days.

I happy about this new change if it sticks. When I look at my feedburner stats they are usually quadruple what gets reported on wordpress.
I’m sure that is because my blog feed gets directed to Facebook and I know lots of people only see it that way or in their feedburner subscription in the evening. Those hits were never counted and it would drive me nuts.Thank you wordpress!
