Am I confusing WP.com with WP.org?
-
I originally signed up with WordPress.com thinking it was wordpress.org. my url:sincereskincare(i own that domain) …Today I signed up for WordPress.org and it let me choose the theme I wanted (anonymous elegance) all to find out the blog still has the picure of a walk way with trees which I did not choose. As i was writing in what i thought was my new theme from WP.org it promted me to jetpack my site(whatever that is) with WP.com I’m soooo confused please HELP! all i want is to be signed up with.org no longer with .com and to changed that theme of the long walkway with trees to anonymous elegance.

Jetpack is a plugin for WordPress.org that connects to some of the WordPress.com services like WordPress.com stats, wp.me shortlinks, and more. You can find out more about Jetpack at http://jetpack.me/

You can delete a WordPress.com blog by logging in to WordPress.com and going to Tools → Delete Site from inside the blog’s dashboard. See this page for more details: http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-blog/
