Confusing Page Links

Thank you for reading, I will try and be as clear as I can.
Its about one of pages linking wrong, in the editor when I preview my website.
Dashboard – Edit Homepage – Preview – click blog in header – blog loads as a homepage (which is different to my actual homepage)
Dashboard – Pages – Blog – shows correct blog page (the blog page is unedited as its been imported.)
Dashboard – Customiser – Blog – shows correct blog page (the blog page is unedited as its been imported.)
I have been through pages and deleted any duplicates I had but how come Pages and Customiser shows the right page but the Preview from the Editor doesn’t?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I have also noticed if you click the link in the above post it loads the correct page too.

I’m not sure I understand what happens. Could you share the exact links to the pages or posts that you are looking at? Don’t worry about the page being private; the staff will be able to see it anyway. This way, we can be sure we are looking at the same pages as you.

Sorry it wasn’t too clear, I’ve got some screenshots.
This is what I see when I do this: Dashboard – Edit Homepage – Preview – click blog in header – blog loads as a homepage (which is different to my actual homepage)

Why is the editor showing the wrong page, its making it so confusing for me to edit the page. Customiser and Pages show the correct page its only the Editor that is showing the wrong one.

What you see in the first screen shot is your site’s homepage. That’s what I see at https://barnsleydogwalker.wordpress.com/, in the Customizer preview, and in the full site preview from My Sites.
That’s the page titled “Home”, which is currently set as your site’s front page.
The blog page is a separate page at https://barnsleydogwalker.wordpress.com/blog-2/, which is designated as your site’s posts page.
It sounds like you want the front page to show your blog page instead, correct?
In that case, go to the Customizer ->Homepage settings, and switch the option at the top to Latests Posts instead of Static Page.

No, sorry thats not even close to what I’m asking.
You don’t seem to be able to see what I am seeing when I click preview. I’ll have a go at sorting it as I’ve noticed when I click Preview – My homepage comes up, but when I then click blog its duplicating my home page for some unknown reason

OK. It looks like you had more than one “blog” page, and one of them has been trashed now.
The one I see now shows a featured image from the last post, and it’s the same no matter how I approach it.
