Confusing themes and i can't re-use my website name

  I’ve tried to make a professional ebsite of myself. I couldn’t do the right desingn and modify the themes is so confusing. At the end i’ve deleted the entire blog in order to start again, and now i can’t use the same name i used before for it. Can you explain me what’s goin’ on and why is all so difficult and confusing?

  The authors have deleted this site.

  Deleing any .wordpress.com blog URL is not easily done. One has to ignore threee warnings stating that deletion is permanent and irreversible.. That;’s because Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

  You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.

  There is nothing wrong with your site. By default the front page of the blog is the only page that will display all published posts on it. As soon as you publish a post not a page the front page error message and searchbox that appears on every new WordPress.COM blog will be gone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

  WordPress.com sells bundles upgrades. We can “preview” changes in the theme customizer that do not actually display on the blog unless we purchase the upgrade.

  If you have not purchased the Premium bundle that contains the custom design upgrade note that no changes you try out aside from those such as Custom Background, Custom Header, etc. which are stated on the theme description pages in the features column (right hand side) will be visible to visitors.

  If you are using the preview mode for the Custom Design upgrade some of the settings in that mode will save but they won’t show up on the front end unless you purchase the upgrade.

  To go back to the free options, go to Appearance → Themes → Customize → Colors and click the “exit the preview” link in yellow at the top of the panel on the right.

  Every day we get new people here at WordPress.COM who do not understand that a blog is a website posting here. This is all semantics and blog structure.

  A blog is a post based website designed for interactive communication. As the posts are frequently updated and appear on the front page of the site it’s very attractive to search engines.

  What most people call a website is merely a page based site that functions as a one way noticeboard. As the structure is page based and as pages are for static content that rarely changes, and as pages do not have RSS feeds it is not as attractive to search engines as a post based blog structured site is.

  A self-hosted WordPress site might be right for you. WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, conduct ecommerce and edit the database.

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and consult with WordPress.ORG bloggers.
