    Hello, Hoping someone can help. I paid the annual fee in January to keep this site, but notice in my notifications that my domain expired 7 months ago? I then tried to update my email address, but it came up under my name personal user name and email address, that doesn’t have a blog attached to it. So I am wondering if the annual payment has been for my personal account instead of business blog?

    The domain theschoolofpurposeforintroverts.blog expired in April 2022, and no payment has been made since January 2021.

    No way, thanks for letting me know, I was sure it was this year, but no problem.

    Do all the blog posts created stay with the domain? or do i lose them?

    And if they are still there, can I change the posts to a new domain?

    And I also need to update the email address, as I stopped using the previous email address associated with that account, (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    Is that possible?

    Your site content is separate from your domain, so whether you retained your domain or not, your content will remain intact.

    And if they are still there, can I change the posts to a new domain?

    Yes, you can register a new domain if you no longer want the previous one. You can follow the instructions here to do so:

    And I also need to update the email address

    Sure! You can change your account email address from here:

    https://wordpress.com/settings/account/

    Please note that the change will not immediately take effect as you will receive a validation email at the new email address. Make sure to click the link in the validation email to confirm the email address change.

    For the email change – I received a link, but it is pre populated with my personal username and email address, instead of my business. If I try and change to my business, it advises that the user name is already taken? Any suggestions?

    I have now deleted my personal page simonmoo to try and help fix the problem without success. I want to sign up for a premium account, but need to have this resolved before i do it.

    Hi, thanks – I must have had my now deleted account trying to use the same user name, as it was sending me to my personal page instead of my business page.
