Howdy,
We don’t offer phone support at this time. For affiliate links, you’re welcome to add them to your posts as part of your normal blogging. Affiliate banner ads are not allowed, as they violate our Advertising policy.
In all cases, we ask that you respect the Terms of Service, which prohibits spam, machine-generated, or other content designed solely to drive traffic to third-party sites (“linkfarming”).
If you have any specific questions, I’d be happy to provide additional clarification. Cheers!

I just became an Amazon affiliate and I can’t figure out how to paste in a link from their site to my blog so that I can get credit if people purchase from my link. They provide a special link that is to be cut and pasted. When I open the box to create the link on wordpress and paste in their special url it doesn’t work. when you click on it in the post it just sends you to a page on my blog that says the page can’t be found..

Hi,
What’s the link you’re using and/or what post has the link that isn’t working for you?
When adding a link, it’ll need the full link (including http://), so for example:
amazon.com/their-unique-site?tag=affiliatetag-20 would fail, since it tries to take you to http://brilliantbites.wordpress.com/amazon.com/their-unique-site?tag=affliatetag-20.
If using http://amazon.com/their-unique-site?tag=affliatetag-20, it should work as expected.
Thanks!

I have removed all the links currently in my blog since they were not working and talked to Amazon about it and it’s not a problem on their end. Here is what I have done.
In the window where I am typing my post I highlight the words I want to turn into a link and then click on the link icon above. I cut and paste from amazon, for example this link<ahref=”http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001UEPGFY/ref=as_li_ss_tlie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B001UEPGFY&linkCode=as2&tag=brillbites-20″>Amazing Nut-Milk Bag from Elaina Love’s Pure Joy Planet<img src=”http://ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=brillbites-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B001UEPGFY” width=”1″ height=”1″ border=”0″ alt=”” style=”border:none !important; margin:0px !important;” />
but when I insert it into the url box on the insert link box that pops up it does not work. when i click the link inside the published post it sends me back to my blog…

Hi,
In that case, when you highlight the words you want to link, you should only paste in the actual link itself—not the complete HTML that they’re giving you.
From the example, you only need to paste in http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001UEPGFY/ref=as_li_ss_tlie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B001UEPGFY&linkCode=as2&tag=brillbites-20
Since the link, as it was being pasted, included the extra HTML, browsers are confused by it and think it is an internal link to another page on your site, which is why it fails.
Cheers!
