confusion about 'pages' and posts

    Just starting to blog, totally confused with new uses of words like ‘themes’ ‘pages’ and ‘posts,
    So now on my first Page? I wrote text which I thought would be a post. How do I delete it now? And insert something more general, which I think a Page is meant to be. How silly I thought this blogging stuff would be easy!

    Hi ,
    WordPress takes your most recent posts to the home page by default. You can login to your panel and reach out POSTS section. You would see your Post “Joy & Peter’s Antipodean Road Trip January – March 2017” You can delete it from there. You can get started from here
