When i enabled it it brought me to you. I thought this was to help me fix my existing blog? It looks to me it is about starting another ? Although that is not a bad idea , I would like to get my other blog up first . can you give me any advice?

Hi there,
To use Jetpack, you have to connect your WordPress.org site to a WordPress.com account. Can you try logging into your WordPress.com account and then heading over to your WordPress.org admin page?
Then, click on “Connect Jetpack to WordPress.” Here, you will receive a prompt to authorize the connection between Jetpack and your WordPress.com account. This will fully activate the Jetpack plugin.
You don’t need to create another blog in order for this to work. Just use the WordPress.com account you used to post this message :)
I hope that clarifies things!
