Hi there,
i want to delete my account because i don’t like the way my website is address, i want is REALITYPAYFORUM.COM not REALITYPAYFORUM.WORDPRESS.COM
You don’t need to delete your whole account. You can either change the domain name (granted that this is within the 4-day cancellation window) or delete the site.
In regards to changing a domain name:
You can cancel it within the 96-hour cancellation window. From there, you can register a new, correct domain name for your site through your domains page. If you purchased domain mapping and misspelled your domain during this process, you can cancel and refund within 30 days. Outside of that window, please contact support.
Once you change the ‘example’ part of example.wordpress.com, the old address will stop working.
You can see this and the rest of the topic on domain names at https://wordpress.com/support/domains/#cancel-a-domain-name. Also read https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/ if you have any questions.
Or if you wish to delete your site:
Go to My Site > Manage > Settings and select Delete your site permanently. You’ll receive an email about this; the site will be deleted after 30 days (this cannot be reversed after 30 days, but you can request it to be restored before this time by replying to the email). https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/
If you delete your site and you purchased a plan, you’ll need to cancel this: https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/#deleting-a-site-with-upgradesIf you still want to delete your account completely:
If you click on your profile picture (top right), then click on Account settings (left), scroll down to the end of the page, there’s an option to ‘Close your account permanently’.
