Confusion regarding possible TOS violation
-
I’ll preface this by saying I’ve already contacted Support, to clarify what exactly I’ve allegedly done.
The short and long of it is, I apparently infuriated an author by posting a negative review on my site. She sent me a very hostile and offensive private message via Goodreads.com, which I in turn quoted on my website (warning: much profanity on her part).
Anyway, her flaming aside, she notes that she reported me for violating the TOS for posting the PM…and I’m failing to see how I did. I mean, I guess she owns the copyright on that message, but I did note that SHE wrote it. I can’t exactly link to it because of the nature of it…so how else could I have violated the TOS?
I don’t even know if any of this makes sense. (I am still giggling over the vitriol she’s spewed.)

As you have already contacted Staff what useful purpose does posting this to the Support forum serve?
Exactly what useful propose did posting a link to your publication of the private message serve?
For the record, we Volunteers provide support for technical support questions. We have no role to play in the blog suspension process, and we do not provide emotional support.

Never mind, received reply from Support which clearly states that an email is copyrighted and thus a violation of the TOS. I’ve subsequently removed the offensive quote.
