We have different plans: free, personal, premium and business. All hosting is free regardless of which plan you choose.
WordPress.com does not accept incoming domain transfers. You can, however, map an existing domain.
In order to remove the .wordpress.com URL and replace that with a domain URL you have to purchase an upgrade. See https://wordpress.com/pricing/
See: Map an existing domain (one you already own) to your WordPress.com blog – if you already have a domain that you registered and purchased elsewhere. http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/
What domain mapping does is providing a seamless redirect to the very same content under the new domain URL when a person clicks the old URL to the original content.
All fees are clearly stated on the plans and pricing pages. There are no monthly payment plans. We are billed annually and pay in full for every upgrade at the time of purchase for a one year subscription.
Note that each upgrade bundle applies to a single blog only and is for a single year only when it is due to be renewed. We have an auto renew feature. Read about it here https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/#auto-renew

Now the WordPress does not accept it, send me a different name; autotravelmiamiwordpress.com example; wordpress and I do not want to delete. I have it says, but does not give me access when mine is autotravelmiami. Even as more scrappage 2 seasons

Hi there,
In order to use your domain hosted at GoDaddy with your WordPress.com site autotravelmiamiwordpress.com, you’ll need to change the domain nameservers at your domain host, and point them over to WordPress.com. Our nameservers are:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMThen, you’ll need to purchase the mapping subscription upgrade so that you can map your domain over to your WordPress.com site.
For instructions on both processes, please visit our support page:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/
Is this what you have attempted already?
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Hi there,
So, your domain is registered with Go Daddy, but you want to use it with your WordPress.com site, correct?
You’ll need to update the nameservers on their end in order to point it over to WordPress.com.
You can find out how to do that here:
https://www.godaddy.com/help/set-nameservers-for-domains-hosted-and-registered-with-godaddy-12316
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi there,
In order to activate autotravelmiami.com so that it works on a WordPress.com blog, you’ll need to map it. The site is technically already activated, it just needs to be mapped to a particular site.
I guess I should ask, is it a WordPress.com site you want to attach the domain to or is it a self-hosted WordPress.org site over at Go Daddy?
-
understand what you say, but …
will not let me activate it with the name autotravelmiami.com. I sent to create it again and gives me a secondary domain (autotravelmiamiwwordpress.com) that is not right.
I need only Autotravelmiami.com.
Go Daddy in only the domain was bought. -
You currently have no site under your account.
What site are you wanting to create for autotravelmiami.com? What is the WordPress.com URL that you are going to use? You have to create a WordPress.com URL first before being able to activate and map autotravelmiami.com to your account.
Let me know if you need assistance with setting up the URL. Thanks!
