Connect a domain to free wordpress site, without upgrading?

    I have an existing domain purchased using another registrar (not WP), and would like to connect this to a new site I’ve created using a free WordPress plan. Can I connect the domain, without upgrading to a paid plan?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    The ability to connect a domain is a feature of our paid plans, and it’s not available on the free plan.
