Connect blog to my website (different domains)

    So I have a blog that I have had since like 2017 and I have posted a number of blog posts and I love my blog. But I also have recently gotten a different domain and domain hosting and started a website. I would like to make my existing blog be the page my visitors get taken to when they click blog on my website. How can I do this?

    Hi there,

    How you do this would depend on what system your website is built with.

    If you’re using the open source WordPress software at your other host, then you’ll edit your site menu, add a custom link item to the menu with http://learningtobe25.wordpress.com/ as the URL, and “Blog” as the menu label.

    If you want your WordPress.com blog to show the URL blog.yourdomain.com in the browser address bar when people view the blog, you’ll need our domain connection upgrade to connect your blog to a subdomain on your website. To do that you’ll need to upgrade your WordPress.com site to one of our paid plans:
