  Good day

  I would like to connect a domain I own and build a free site. Can you please assist as I keep ending up at paid plan options after selecting the connect domain at step 2. Is it still possible to connect my existing domain and build a site for free?

  Hi there:

  To have your domain be your primary domain, you need a paid plan. Otherwise, your domain will redirect to your free *.wordpress.com URL. There’s no free option to use your own domain here at this time.
