connect Etsy to my blog

  I would like better information on and ease with integrating my Etsy shop to my WordPress site. All I find is partnerships with Ecwid and Shopify. I hope WordPress.com can allow these choice solutions to become available to its valuable customers. Thank you in advance.

  Right now we don’t have much for Etsy integration. There have been a few other requests for a widget that displays items in an Etsy store, and I’ve alerted our developers that you’d like this option as well. I’ll let you know here if it becomes available in the future.

  In the meantime, you’re correct that fully using WordPress.com as a storefront would require Shopify or Ecwid instead, not Etsy.

  There are couple other more manual options you might do to help readers of your blog visit your Etsy store:

  • Add a custom link in your menu to your Etsy shop
  • Create in-depth descriptions of your products using posts or pages on your blog, but then link to its Etsy product page as a call-to-action
  • Feature customer reviews and testimonials on your blog

  Thank you very much Alex! Your helpful tips may come in handy. I’m sorry we cannot attach any other eCommerce sites as of now, except those listed, but I’ll work with what you advise in the meantime.
