  I am trying to connect my GoDaddy Domain I purchased to my website but it won’t allow me to. How do I do this?

  You can’t do it for free. You need to upgrade your free WordPress.com site to a paid plan to map a domain you alrady own to it.

  You can redirect from GoDaddy’s side. You go into DNS management, then set up ‘Forwarding’ so that when someone types in your domain, they are sent to the site you specify (your wordpress address) if you use masking as well, the domain will stay in the address bar.
