Connect theme Resume template: need step by step instructions

  What am I missing here?

  I am new to templates, but I found instructions re: how to make a Home page using the included template and did that no problem. Same for a Blog page. Now I want to make a Resume page.

  I want to make a resume page using the Resume template. I started a new page, named it Resume, and chose Resume from page attributes.

  This is where I’m lost. I have a regular page – no areas to fill in with specific information, just a regular page to format myself. What’s the template part of this template?

  Chat support sent me to a link w/in a support page that had template code I could copy and paste and then alter (as far as my weak programming abilities will let me). But I could do this on any regular page (and still be as semi-lost).

  Isn’t a template supposed to set up the page and let me add my info?

  Maybe I’m a hopeless case, but I think I need step-by-step instructions for the Resume template in the Connect theme.

  I’d appreciate any help anybody has to offer.
