Hi there,
Where do you see a link to add a domain at £11? On My Site ->Domains ->Add it should only show a button saying Upgrade.
You will need to add a plan before you can add a domain, but you can do it using our cheaper Personal Plan as well. To select that plan, first go to My Site ->Plans and add it there, then add the domain afterwards.
Let me know if you need any more help with this.

I cant find any direct support, I guest becuase I havnt taken a plan so can someone in WordPress tell me how to activate this domain link offer.?
-
It’s showing you that option because you already have a plan and domain added to your cart. See the checkout page here:
https://wordpress.com/checkout/rentaflatxyz.wordpress.com
If you already have a plan and domain you can add additional domains at £11 for domains you already own. But if you clear the shopping cart on the checkout page you’ll only see the Upgrade option.

Hi Yes I had a look, its in the basket. I didnt put anything in the basket so I dont know how it got there, anyway it is a bug is’nt it and misleading.
On another matter (or should I do another post?)- I have checked on the support material and blog search with no luck – when I update it does not publish as it is telling me that I have not published for 8 days. I take it that updating and publishing are concurrent and that the 8 day notice is wrong since my amendments appear if I call my site outside of the login (but on the same computer).

If you tried to add a domain and clicked the Upgrade button, or if you selected a custom domain during signup but then didn’t complete the checkout, either one would have added the upgrade to your cart. If you then went back to the domains page it would change the options shown based on what was already in your cart.

Those stats are based on the last time you published a post. The last post on your site was published on 23 November. Updating an already-published post does not change the publication date of the post. That stat will only change once you publish a brand new post.
Pages are not reckoned in publication stats at all, as pages aren’t tied to a date in the way that posts are.
