Connect Twitter, but have sharing off by default

  Is there a way that I can connect Twitter, but have sharing for new posts switched off by default? I do want to share some of my posts on Twitter, but not most of them.

  As far as I can see, if I connect Twitter to my WordPress blog, then sharing to Twitter will be on by default, and can be switched off selectively. I want to have that setting be the other way around – off by default, but can be switched on selectively from the new post page. Is that possible?

  Hi @mitchwagner660, right now it’ll just be on by default. We can pass along a feature request about changing that, but for now you’ll want to turn it off when you don’t want to tweet. If you only rarely want to tweet articles, you could also turn off Publicize but turn on sharing, and then click the share button to share the articles manually.
