Connect with the domain I own.

    I have my own domain which is ‘pixelandproject.com’. I would like to use that domain with $0 wordpress basic plan but it looks like it is pointing towards ‘pixelandproject.wordpress.com’ which I don’t want.

    Hi!

    I suspect the issue is that you are attempting to use your existing domain with the new WordPress.com site? If that is the case, it will not allow you to choose the “free” site plan. Using a custom domain (yourgroovysite.com instead of yourgroovysite.wordpress.com) requires one of our paid plans. But any of the paid plans will do it. Might I suggest giving the Personal plan a try? It offers the ability to use your custom domain, as well as a number of other features (including the No Ads upgrade, which many folks find valuable).

    What sort of sit are you building? Perhaps we can give you some advice on which WordPress.com plans or features would be most helpful.
