  Could you clarify what you mean by you’re are trying to connect word 2007 to WordPress and what you would like to accomplish?

  Since you are writers, are you hoping to write your blog posts in Word as opposed to the WordPress editor? If that is the case, Word is not a good choice for creating blog posts due to formatting issues.
