    What happens to my existing site if I connect my domain and point it to WordPress.com? What exactly does this mean?

    Great question! We generally recommend that you move your domain as the last step. This will limit down time of the current site.

    Are you able to share the URL of the current site with us here? I’d like to have a look and can then better advise on which hosting plan is the right starting place.

    Step 1: Select a hosting plan for your project.
    Step 2: Build the new site, import your content.
    Step 3: Connect the domain.
