connecting a mailchimp emailing system

    Hello, I am having a connectivity issue with mailchimp to my wordpress. In my website, users can login in, which gives them access to their account and member information. I want to set up my mailchimp email preference list (with all the different interests members can choose to get emails about) in their member profile, so they can easily update there email interests should they choose to. I managed to get a form onto the site, but it required members to resend their email, which prompted them with a message that said their email was already an account member, and asked if they’d like to update their settings. Thats too confusing for my users. If anyone can help please reach out, it would be extremely appreciated! Thanks :)

    Noting too, these forums are for the sites hosted and managed here at WordPress.com. If you need help with an individual WordPress installation you’re running with another host, you’ll want to use the correct forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

    For a connectivity issue, my best guess is that your host will need to configure something to allow the Mailchimp connection, but you’ll need to check with Mailchimp and your host to be sure.
